Welcome to Storefjell

Storefjell goes beyond the typical hotel experience. Since its establishment in 1930, the Nibstad family has been inviting guests to enjoy the mountains around Gol. Today, the fourth generation of Nibstads is here to ensure you have a great stay.

With its own bathing facilities, numerous lounges, and indoor and outdoor activities, we are proud to say that Storefjell is now a destination in itself. Whether you’re organizing a conference, attending a company Christmas party, or just looking for an active family vacation with options for both young and old under the same roof, you’re welcome here. You’ll find us centrally located on Golsfjellet, between Hallingdal and Valdres. We provide you with great experiences, whether you come alone, with your family, or in a group.

Getting here

To avoid any confusions regarding the directions from the airport to the hotel, see image below for your preferred route.

All google maps options will off course take you there but this one is the easiest option with least amount of moose, polar bears and reindeers wandering in the road. 😉

Ice Racing - The Ultimate Driving Experience

High-speed experiences beyond the ordinary in stunning surroundings. For over 20 years, Golsfjellet has been the base for driver training, both for emergency vehicles and advanced skill driving. 7 challenging, well-prepared ice tracks with a total length of over 16 km provide high-speed experiences. Additionally, several technical courses are available for more advanced driving, perfect for sharpening your skills!

PROGRAM

These are the times you need to be aware of during our time together in Storefjell. Keep in mind that there could be some changes to the program and please as well leave room for 30 minutes transfer time down to the ice track from the hotel. You will ride your rental cars down so please group together for this. Any major changes to the program will be informed in the teams group.
